Building Automation and HVAC Controls

PCT has experience developing software for HVAC and building Automation Ssytems.

Our past experience includes architecting a Windows Mobile based inspection system. This system is used to commission HVAC equipment after installation and is also used by the air balancing industry. Around 300 technicians enter data daily and sync the information to a a central server location. Reports and analysis can be done at the central server through a web portal. For more information contact www.airnab.com.

Another recent application involved JASC Web Alarm to Windows Event Log data transfer. Below are several screenshots from that application. The application polls the JASC controller using HTTP requests. When a new alarm is detected, it logs it to the Windpows Event Log. Contact www.datanab.com for more information.

Click on a screenshot below for a larger image and explanation.

The web alarm logger cyclically polls the JASC controller and logs any new alarms to the Windows Event Log.

Application settings allow configuration of JASC controller location and Windows Event Log Settings.

The web alarm logger interface can be minimized to the system tray to free up desktop space.

Temperature and boolean alarm events are polled and transferred into the event log.

The web alarm logger runs in the background, as a Windows Service, allowing it to run even if the user has not logged on the system.
